The 21 is a place where I can publish photos that do not conveniently fit in other collections. There will be some surprises. I am going to try to maintain a schedule of adding a page with 21 photos on a monthly basis. The blog entry will explain what the photos are about and why I am publishing them…maybe even some technical details. For now, this is my showcase and I intend to publish only my own work. But that could change. So if you know of someone who is an excellent visual artist, even yourself, tell me about them below please.
If you have not yet, I invite you to look at the photo collections at www.graphicgreg.com. The Theater work and Classic Cars are pretty much complete although I do have many more theater images that could be scanned and added. The Orchid Photo Page is an institution on the www and updated weekly. The street photos section is also a live body of work which will be added to periodically although not on a set schedule.

I have been asked where graphicgreg came from, so here’s the story. In the early 1970’s I had a photo studio partnership with Joe Valbuena here in WPB. We ran the studio for four years but we were both young and impetuous and so were our relationships. Both of our love lifes were rocky so we sold the business to a third party. I took off for New England in hopes of a new environment envigorating my marriage. Three years later my wife was back in Texas and I was back in West Palm. When Valbuena and I sold Eye Studios we signed a five year non-compete contract which meant that I needed to find work and couldn’t be photography. So I fell back on my background as a graphic designer and commercial artist and did freelance commercial art under the sig of graphicgreg. Fast forward twenty years and someone had hijacked the domain name but let it lapse in early 2009 which is why graphicgreg.com is just now being launched.
